Report Date: September 10, 2008 Description Of Work: They took off existing shingles on my roof and re-shingled it. Comments: The experience was good with them. They gave prompt service and they had great responsiveness to calls and inquiries. I think they did a good quality job at a reasonable price. |

Report Date: June 30, 2008 Description Of Work: Removal of 3 layers of shingle, some new plywood replacement, a piece of aluminum siding replaced, 30 year architectural Tamco shingles (with a 40 yr mfg guarantee) on main house and detached garage. We had rain/ice guards installed in two areas near chimney and a ridge vent installed. The work came with a 10 year workmanship guarantee. Magnetic nail removal from the yard after the job was complete. Comments: We have an older brick 1 1/2 story house with steep pitches and a detached garage. There were 3 layers of roofing shingles that needed to be removed. We also needed a piece of aluminum siding on one of the main peaks that had been blown off in a storm and a new gutter on the garage. After pulling up the shingles it was determined that some new plywood sheets were needed. Harold called before moving forward to ask if I wanted to see the damaged wood. Harold was our salesman. He was very responsive to our calls. He came out to the house numerous times prior to the work, during the job and after the job was complete. We had some issues with roofing debris in the gutter but Lanehouse paid for the plumber to root out the debris. Our plumber was amazed that a roofing company would stand by their word of taking care of this issue. The crew did a great job of cleaning up each day and when the job was complete. They rolled the yard with a magnetic roller to pick up any nails. Overall, Lanehouse was a great company to work with. They do what they say they are going to do and they do it right and take care of any issues that arise in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the way they run their business. We have a summer home that needs a new roof and I will definitely give Lanehouse Construction a call for this job too! If you are planning on getting a new roof - be sure to include Lanehouse when getting bids. |

Report Date: July 26, 2008 Description Of Work: I had an older roof that I wanted replaced. I had 40 year Tamco AR shingles put on. Comments: The whole process was easier then I expected. The owners worked with me to schedule the install date that I wanted. The company communicated with me everything I needed to know about the job. They returned phone calls in a timely manor. The crew was great. They showed up on the day and time that was scheduled. The crew was very conscientious. They cleaned up the job site after each day and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. I have done many residential and commercial projects and Lane House was one of the best contractors I have worked with to date. |

Report Date: June 26, 2008 Description Of Work: We had some storm damage on the exterior of our house. They came and replaced that for me. Comments: They came out pretty quickly. They were wonderful. Their price was lower then the other quote that we had gotten. They did a great job. I would recommend them to friends and family. |

Report Date: October 22, 2008 Description Of Work: They removed our old roof and put a new one on. They also removed and replaced our gutters, and installed a leaf guard. They added new insulation per my request since the roof would be off. |

Report Date: July 13, 2009 Description Of Work: Tear off and replacement of home with both 1-story and 2-story roof sections. Comments: I received three estimates; one from a local contractor that was highly recommended by friend, and two from Angies list Honor recipients. The local contractor provided the lowest price but I was concerned by their professionalism (insurance, lien waiver, etc.). The other bidder was significantly higher than Lane House Construction but the added elements in their bid were not of sufficient value to justify the difference in price. The crew that performed the work was very professional and curtious. As it turned out, Lane under estimated the amount of shingles required for my roof by three squares (roughly 10%) but did not ask to modify the contract. Even if the bid had included the additional three squares of shingles, it would have been the best value proposal. I highly recommend Lane House Construction. |

Report Date: January 5, 2010 Description Of Work: complete new roof installed Comments: There was good communication from the start. I was impressed that they worked around my schedule. The roof replacement took two days and I was kept up to date with any cost increases due to rotten wood. (The wood was saved for my inspection). Very good quality. Very polite and professional. |

Report Date: March 17, 2010 Description Of Work: We used Lane House Construction to install three windows. Comments: They came out and told us what type of windows they use and gave us a quote for installation. The owner came out and provided the estimate and told us how the work would be performed. He was very clear about their process and told us what to expect. He was very professional and on time. A different gentleman came to install them and installed them without a problem. He cleaned up after his work. |

Report Date: January 11, 2010 Description Of Work: I used Lane House Construction for roofing work. They gave me the estimate in the summer of last year. The actual work was done, three months ago. Comments: They were very good. However, it took them a very long time to finish the work, as there were some problems. A part of the problem was that the company that supplied the material gave them wrong information. Then, the distributor didn’t have the right things in because it was a new product. It took a long time to get the material. However, once they got the material, they were wonderful. They came out and completed the work in a few days. They did exactly what they said they would do. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up well. The people were lovely and wonderful. They handled everything beautifully. They cleaned-up better than I had expected. I love them. The work cost me more than I had anticipated because the wood had to be replaced. However, it was required. When I called them, I got through easily. I got answers easily and I got people to talk to me. The office staff was lovely. The issues that I had were worked on. They talked to me about everything. It was definitely a long wait, but I don’t know if it would have been any different with any other company, considering the situation. They were a little expensive, but they did suggest me a lot of cheaper options. I wanted premium materials, so I can’t say if they were out of line. Their services were worth the price I paid. They worked on a weekend, in order to complete my roofing work. My roof looks lovely right now. I am sure I can depend on them in the future, if I have a problem with the roof. |

They worked as long as they needed to one day to get the job done in two days. They give you a 10 year guarantee which is transferable to another owner. They clean was wonderful. I highly recommend them. |

Report Date: August 25, 2009 Description Of Work: Jerry House's sale presentation was very thorough and he answered all our questions. The work was started in the time period he put forth and completed in a timely fashion. Comments: The work went like clock work. They had to replaced 5 sheets of plywood which they showed us and stated the reason for replacement. I got up on the roof to see how the vents worked and the crew forman took time out to show how it worked. They were always courtious and helpful at all times. They finished on time and then another 2 men came out the next morning and replaced a area of guttering that was causing a small problem at no additional charge. We are quite happy with the result and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or guttering. |
